Premier Energies has inaugurated its 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Telangana, taking its total module manufacturing capacity to 11.1 GW. The company also broke ground on a 6 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facility and an 18,000 MTPA aluminium frames plant, strengthening India's clean energy manufacturing ecosystem. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who inaugurated the facility, said the state aims to become a global manufacturing hub and contribute at least 10% to PM's Viksit Bharat 2047 dream.
