NEW YORK: Saudi Arabia on Wednesday told the United Nations that investment in human capital and the localization of knowledge are the foundation of sustainable industrialization, as the Kingdom presented its progress under Vision 2030 during a session on Sustainable Development Goal 9 — a global framework to build resilient infrastructure and foster innovation — at the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. The SDGs are a set of 17 interconnected global objectives adopted by the UN in 2015 to create a fairer, more peaceful, and sustainable world by 2030.
