The International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (Itac) has decided to recommend to the Trade, Industry and Competition Minister Parks Tau that the existing anti-dumping duties of 45% on gypsum plasterboard imported from Thailand and 34.6% on gypsum plasterboard imported from Indonesia, excluding that manufactured by PT Siam-Indo Gypsum Industry, be maintained. This follows a sunset review investigation by Itac of the anti-dumping duties on gypsum plasterboard originating in or imported from Indonesia and Thailand.
