LONDON: The Jordanian field hospital in southern Gaza has provided 126 prostheses for upper and lower limbs to patients in the Palestinian coastal enclave since May. The assistance is part of an initiative launched in 2024 by the Restoring Hope Society, under King Abdullah’s directives. It has provided more than 1,200 prosthetic limbs to patients, according to Jordan News Agency. The scheme helps amputees regain mobility and resume their daily lives after losing limbs in the Israeli war on Gaza since late 2023. The hospital recently received 1,000 advanced prosthetic limbs.
