Whirlwind rips off roof of Thrissur house, uproots trees

A powerful whirlwind tore through Kuttur in Thrissur district late on Tuesday, ripping off the entire roof truss of a house, uprooting trees and leaving a trail of destruction, even as a family of five, including children, had a narrow escape.
