Netball Jamaica president Karen Baugh believes they have selected a balanced squad of experience and youth for the Commonwealth Games and expects the team to be challenging for the gold medal.Netball Jamaica revealed a 12-member squad with highly experienced players such as Romelda Aiken-George, Shanice Beckford, Kadie Ann Dehaney, and Shamera Sterling-Humphrey, alongside young players such as Jodi Ann Ward, Crystal Plummer, and Azara Wilmot.Baugh admitted that the selection process was a difficult one but that they believed they have it right for this tournament.
