The show stars David Mitchell as John "Ludwig" Taylor, an introverted puzzle designer who steps into the shoes of his missing detective twin brother. The first series was a significant success, attracting over 9.5 million viewers within 28 days and becoming the BBC’s biggest scripted series since 2024.
