Diljit Dosanjh's film Satluj finally reached audiences after years of delays, censorship battles and title changes. But just 48 hours after its release on ZEE5, the film was removed from the platform, sparking fresh questions about censorship, historical memory and freedom of expression.

Less than two days after debuting on ZEE5, the platform removed the Diljit Dosanjh-starrer from its Indian catalogue for unexplained reasons.

Satluj, previously titled Punjab 95, released on Zee5 global on July 3, 2026. It is directed by Honey Trehan. | Bollywood
