Railway Ministry approves recruitment process for 4,098 technical posts to strengthen safety

The Railway Ministry has approved hiring 4,098 technical staff across India. This recruitment aims to strengthen operational safety and improve efficiency significantly. Vacancies will be filled in 35 critical technical categories, including engineers and technicians. Centralised Employment Notifications will be issued from July 21, 2026, onwards. Railway unions welcome this move to address crucial safety-related post vacancies.
