The government will refer the film "Satluj" to an Inter-Departmental Committee for review. This action follows ZEE5's directive to remove the movie due to security concerns. The film, detailing activist Jaswant Singh Khalra's life, was released uncut on the platform. It had previously faced delays with censors for over three years. The committee will examine grievances related to digital content and make recommendations.

In the light of the current developments, Satluj will be unavailable in India until further notice,’ Zee5 said in a statement.

Diljit Dosanjh’s Satluj removed from ZEE5 India just two days after its OTT debut, as the platform vows to restore the human rights drama through due process.
