Diljit Dosanjh addressed fans during an Instagram Live session a day after Satluj was removed from ZEE5, where he reacted with humour after a fan suggested he get a "Green Card." The singer-actor also spoke about the film's sudden takedown, saying the team had expected it, explained why it was released without promotions, and expressed relief that audiences were able to watch it before it was removed. He thanked viewers for their support and reflected on the years-long struggle to bring the film to the public.

After a 3-year CBFC battle, Diljit Dosanjh's Satluj, formerly Punjab '95, began finally streaming on ZEE5 Global and has been released without any cuts.

Less than two days after debuting on ZEE5, the platform removed the Diljit Dosanjh-starrer from its Indian catalogue for unexplained reasons.
