​Two CRPF inspectors clear every round of promotion exam, then failed over forearm tattoo: Delhi HC refuses relief despite tattoo removal; tattoos went unnoticed since joining

The Delhi High Court has dismissed petitions filed by two CRPF inspectors who were declared medically unfit for promotion to Assistant Commandant solely on account of tattoos on their right forearms. The court held that both officers, as serving personnel, could not claim ignorance of tattoo guidelines, and that subsequent removal of the tattoos could not cure their ineligibility at the time of examination.
