Mavis Bank man charged for stealing $250,000 in building materials

A 44-year-old Mavis Bank, St Andrew livestock farmer has been charged with simple larceny following the alleged theft of building materials valued at approximately $250,000.Jomo Johnson was charged in connection with an incident that occurred in his community on Tuesday, June 30.According to reports from the Constant Spring police, about 2:20 a.m., Johnson allegedly went to a man's home and stole several building materials.The matter was reported to the police, and on Wednesday, July 1, Johnson turned himself in to investigators.
