Court Orders Final Forfeiture Of N150million Linked To Serving House Of Reps Member

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the final forfeiture of N150million linked to a serving member of the House of Representatives, Nicholas Mutu, to the Nigerian government after ruling that the money constituted proceeds of unlawful activities. Justice J.O. Abdulmalik, who delivered the judgment, granted an application filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) seeking the permanent forfeiture of the funds.
