Monaco's public prosecutor confirmed the suspect's identification, stating that an Interpol Red Notice would be issued for her following the attack earlier this week. The suspect, described as a Ukrainian woman in her thirties registered as living in Germany, was captured on CCTV fleeing the scene towards the neighbouring French town of Beausoleil. The bomb, placed in the lobby of a luxury building, exploded as Mr Iermolaiev tried to leave; he is reportedly out of danger, but a woman remains in critical condition with both legs amputated. Mr Iermolaiev, a 58-year-old Cypriot national and real estate developer, is a controversial figure who was sanctioned by Ukraine for alleged collaboration with Russia, accusations he has fiercely denied.
