Mahua-Agnimitra clash as Ritabrata Banerjee-led TMC delegation meets ECI amid real opposition row

A political clash erupted in Kolkata as West Bengal Minister Agnimitra Paul and TMC MP Mahua Moitra exchanged sharp remarks following a Ritabrata Banerjee-led TMC delegation meeting with the Election Commission of India (ECI) over a “real opposition” dispute. Speaking on the issue, Agnimitra Paul said, “We are bothered about a good Opposition… right now there is an Opposition where we really can't figure out where is the Opposition,” while Mahua Moitra countered, “Only those who are fraud need to announce loudly they they are real… Mamata Banerjee and Kalighat didn't go anywhere.”
