Iran envoy: US military bases in the Gulf caused ‘nothing but insecurity’

Iranian Ambassador to the UN Amir-Saeid Iravani said on Thursday that US military bases in the Gulf states have brought “nothing but instability” to the region, in remarks delivered during an emergency session of the Security Council.
