Aid agencies in Ukraine on Thursday rushed to respond to a massive uptick in deadly strikes by Russia, including one of the largest attacks on Kyiv to date.

Ballistic and cruise missiles and drones were used in what Kyiv's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, said was the largest attack on the city since the war began.

Search and rescue operations are continuing at the sites of Russia's strikes on Kyiv, with six people currently listed as missing.
