This year's July 4 fireworks display in Washington, D.C., will be the largest ever held there, but will also start much later, organizers said.

The performing arts center was scheduled to close July 4 for a two-year, $250 million renovation project, but will instead remain open.

Tickets for the viewing start at $425 and include access to the center’s roof terrace.
