Gauteng expects to complete R553 Golden Highway rehabilitation in September

Construction works along the R553 (Golden Highway) rehabilitation project are progressing in line with the approved programme timelines, and the Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport is confident of meeting the practical completion date of mid-September. The R553 rehabilitation project covers the road from the intersection at the R558 to beyond the M68, or Chris Hani road and Columbine avenue, intersection.
