Kuwait Airways resumes flights to Damascus for first time in 14 years

LONDON: Kuwait Airways will resume direct flights between Damascus, capital of the Syrian Arab Republic, and Kuwait City on July 15, the first time in 14 years it has offered the route. The Syrian Civil Aviation Authority said on Wednesday the move was part of efforts to enhance air connectivity between Syria, the Middle East and beyond, and provide travelers with more options, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported.
