Nolan recalled feeling uncomfortable with Harris's attempts to kiss her on the lips, a behaviour her sisters had also noticed. Her family was unsurprised when Harris was later exposed as a prolific sex offender. Harris was sentenced in 2014 to five years and nine months for 12 counts of indecent assault and died in 2023 at the age of 93.
