Indian graduates aiming for Master's degrees in Germany will face a new hurdle from 2026. The Digital Master Assessment Test (dMAT) will become a mandatory part of the APS verification process. Developed by German universities, this digital exam assesses both general academic aptitude and subject-specific knowledge, with results reported in percentile ranks and scores. Currently, two universities utilize the dMAT for specific Master's programs.
