The assailants, who arrived in a white tow truck, reportedly used racial slurs against the photographer, attempted to order a dog to attack the crew, and then smashed the photographer's camera and the news van's windshield. The news crew members were not physically injured during the assault. The three suspects were arrested about 20 minutes later after a high-speed chase, following reports that they had allegedly pointed a firearm at pedestrians in a separate incident and subsequently crashed into a police vehicle. Authorities recovered a firearm from the tow truck, and charges are pending as the investigation into the incident continues.
