Hermitage Dam decline triggers water restrictions for some Corporate Area communities – NWC

The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that it has moved to implement water rationing for thousands of customers served by the Constant Spring Water Treatment Facility in St Andrew as water levels at the Hermitage Dam continue to decline. The NWC, in a statement on Tuesday, said the restrictions will take effect on Friday, July 3 and are being implemented in an effort to safeguard the remaining water supply and ensure equitable distribution to affected communities.
