Scrap suffered a severe leg injury that became badly infected and required an urgent amputation. With a strong prognosis following surgery, funding assistance helped ensure Scrap could receive the procedure needed to relieve pain and return to a healthy life."When we called the owner to let her know the funding had been approved, she was so appreciative of all the efforts to help," said Sherry Thien, Hospital Administrator at Companions Animal Hospital. "She had been facing an impossible decision and desperately wanted to help her cat.
