The donation was made through their charitable foundation, All Within My Hands, following an appeal from the foodbank which stated its warehouse was “so empty”. Rachel Biggs, CEO of Cardiff Foodbank, confirmed the “incredible amount of money” will make a significant difference and help replenish their empty shelves. The charity, which supports 20,000 people annually, stated the donation will provide 9,000 meals and is their largest celebrity contribution to date. The foodbank noted that while demand remains high, food donations have dropped by 27 per cent, with running costs estimated at £700,000.
