Wingo launches new direct route from Montego Bay to Colombia

MBJ Airports Limited, operator of the Sangster International Airport (SIA), marked the launch of a new direct air link between Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Medellín, Colombia, last Tuesday.MBJ said the new route strengthens Montego Bay’s role as a key Caribbean gateway for international air connectivity and expands low-cost access to one of Colombia’s most dynamic destinations.Connecting SIA with José María Córdova International Airport, the non-stop international route was officially launched by Wingo with an inaugural flight with 121 passengers.
