West End theatres will dim their lights for two minutes to pay tribute to one of Britain’s best-loved actors.

Dame Penelope Keith was best known for her roles as snobbish suburbanite Margo Leadbetter in The Good Life, and widowed aristocrat Audrey fforbes-Hamilton in To the Manor Born.

The show, which went by 'Good Neighbors' in the U.S., ran from 1975 to 1978 and won Keith a BAFTA.
