NEW DELHI: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds across several parts of the states on Tuesday, as weather conditions turn increasingly active ahead of a further advance of the southwest monsoon. The spell is expected to range from light showers in Delhi to moderate and heavy rainfall in hill states, eastern India and the Northeast.
