RIYADH: The Saudi national artificial intelligence team won six awards at the inaugural Asia-Pacific Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence, held virtually by China. The competition brought together 129 students from 18 countries. The Kingdom won one gold medal, three silver medals, and two certificates of appreciation. Qusai Emad Jadallah from Jeddah won the gold medal, while Laith Suwaid Al-Zahrani from Riyadh, Yousef Farid Al-Khalawi from Jeddah, and Ali Ayman Al-Khabbaz from the Eastern Province each earned silver medals.
