Senior Advocate of Nigeria and human rights lawyer Femi Falana has called on Nigerian authorities at all levels to uphold human rights, strengthen the rule of law and ensure that the 2027 general elections mark a genuine turning point for security, good governance and human dignity across the country. Falana made the call on Saturday while delivering a paper titled 2027: Building A Nation Where No Man Is Oppressed at an event organised in honour of the late Chief Alao Aka-Bashorun, a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
