Plane Carrying Skydivers Crashes In France, Emergency Operation Underway

Emergency services were deployed on Sunday after a civilian aircraft was involved in an incident in the town of Tomblaine in northeastern France. The local prefecture confirmed that authorities were responding to the incident. Reuters reported that French newspaper L'Est Républicain said the aircraft, which was carrying a group of skydivers, had crashed. The newspaper added that a large number of first responders had been mobilised to the scene.
