Sir Rod Stewart has spoken out after he stopped a show mid-performance to use an oxygen tank. On Friday (19 June), the 81-year-old was seen struggling on stage during a concert in Utah. During an appearance on TalkSport on Wednesday (24 June), the musician was asked about his health. On 13 June, he cancelled a show in San Diego just 45 minutes before he was due to go on stage. “I really shouldn’t have gone to the Haiti game,” said Sir Rod, who went to a World Cup match just a day after cancelling his California show due to illness. “You know, I had to cancel a show the night before because I just had no voice left. But the truth is I wasn’t going to let my two sons down.”
