The 16-day Great American State Fair kicks off in Washington, D.C., a city where the president is making some renovations.

Turns out not many people wanted to hear the president speak at the event.

“This is America come to life in the very heart of our capital,” Freedom 250's CEO said of the fair in comments to the Washington Examiner.

Multiple state booths were basically empty, with several containing just a pair of chairs
