Antigua and Barbuda to increase passenger tax

ST JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC – The Antigua and Barbuda government has approved a US$10 increase in the passenger head tax for travellers entering and departing the country.A statement issued following the weekly Cabinet meeting noted that the new tax will now be US$50 “as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure the sustainable financing of critical regional institutions that provide essential services to Antigua and Barbuda and the wider Eastern Caribbean.”
