Directed by Uwe Boll, the German-produced action-thriller depicts Hammer as a businessman who becomes a vigilante targeting criminals and corrupt judges. The film has drawn significant criticism for its extreme violence and alleged anti-immigration stance, with Germany refusing it a rating and effectively banning its release within the country.Boll said in a series of posts the film was uploaded “exclusively” on X for global viewing and claimed it "represents 50 per cent of the population" who believe "we cannot continue with these unbelievable, wrong migration policies in Europe and America."Boll told The Telegraph he cast Hammer in the lead role "because he was cancelled and wanted to work”. It follows a series of sexual abuse and misconduct accusations against the 39-year-old actor in 2021, which he vehemently denied and for which no charges were pressed.
