Delhi’s Akshara Theatre seeks strength in Ramayana wall, amid eviction threat

On March 11, Akshara Theatre received an eviction notice against which it has got a stay till July 20. But, in absence of any further mitigation, this 54-year-old cultural landmark stands at the crossroads of getting wiped out from its original place of glory; where it was founded by legendary thespians, late Gopal Sharman and Jalabala Vaidya.
