BRO restores vital road link in J-K's Kishtwar with construction of new bailey bridge

Connectivity has been restored between Gulabgarh and Machail in Kishtwar district with the operationalization of a 140-foot bailey bridge at Chishoti. This vital link, washed away by a cloudburst last year, was rebuilt by the Border Roads Organisation in just 12 days. The bridge's inauguration ensures uninterrupted access for pilgrims to the Machail Mata temple and bolsters socio-economic lifelines for the remote region.
