BRICS bank approves R16.4 billion loan for South Africa’s urban infrastructure

The New Development Bank has approved a R16.4 billion loan for South Africa to modernise water, sanitation, electricity and waste management infrastructure across eight metropolitan municipalities, including Johannesburg, Tshwane and Cape Town.
