According to the Russian diplomat, Moscow remains committed to the understandings reached between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump in Alaska

Senior Russian officials accuse the US of abandoning the so-called "spirit of Anchorage", a concept Moscow used to describe its expectations for a settlement of the war in Ukraine.

"This is a departure from where the Trump administration started its dialogue with us," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.
