At least 15 people, including children, have died in a massive fire that broke out at a commercial building in Lucknow's Aliganj area on Monday. The blaze prompted a large-scale rescue operation. Earlier, PM Narendra Modi had announced an ex gratia of ₹2 lakh from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the next of kin of each deceased, while the injured would receive ₹50,000.
