Chennai-based fertility specialis, Dr Priya Selvaraj, has become the only Indian woman above 50 to climb two 8,000 metre peaks within seven months: Manaslu in September 2025 and Mount Everest this May. Fighting for her life when she fell into a crevasse during the expedition, she told herself, ‘If I am strong enough to bring life into this world, then I am strong enough to save my own’.
