‘Breaking Bad’ star Giancarlo Esposito converts to Islam after filming movie in Saudi Arabia

DUBAI: “Breaking Bad” star Giancarlo Esposito announced he had embraced Islam during his stay in Saudi Arabia, said General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Alalshikh. In a post on X Alalshikh said Esposito recited The Shahada and joined members of the production team in prayer at a mosque while filming “7 Dogs.” Best known for his role as Gustavo Fring in “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul,” Esposito is an acclaimed actor and name in Hollywood. Alalshikh said the actor expressed appreciation for the community and the hospitality he experienced during filming.
