Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari expresses grief over NH-27 Maynaguri accident, announces compensation for victims' kin

A tragic road accident on NH-27 in Maynaguri claimed two lives and injured over 50 passengers when a bus collided with a stationary trailer. West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari expressed deep sorrow, announced ex-gratia payments of ₹5 lakh for deceased, ₹1 lakh for grievously injured, and ₹50,000 for minor injuries. The state will also cover all medical treatment costs for the injured.
