KwaMashu duo arrested for selling fake sick notes after drug addict unwittingly tips off cops

Two KwaMashu men have been arrested for allegedly selling fraudulent medical certificates to employees seeking time off work. The suspects were reportedly exposed after a drug addict unknowingly led an undercover police officer to them at a shopping centre in KwaMashu. Authorities allege the pair had been operating the scheme for years, using medical certificates bearing the names of legitimate doctors.
