The Democratic primary for mayor of the nation’s capital is still too early to call. But clear patterns emerged in the early vote count favoring Janeese Lewis George.

Janeese Lewis George, a DC Council member, had received just over half of the 65% of votes that had been counted by Wednesday morning.
