The first batch of pilgrims for the second year of the resumed Kailash Mansarovar Yatra was flagged off from Nathula on the India-China border by Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur. The pilgrimage, which resumed last year after a five-year suspension, is expected to see around ten batches this season. Authorities, including the ITBP and the Sikkim government, have made extensive security, medical and logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth and safe journey for pilgrims.
