Azerbaijan, Islamic Development Bank sign water security agreements

BAKU: Azerbaijan and the Islamic Development Bank on Thursday signed two agreements aimed at enhancing water security and strengthening development cooperation during the 2026 IsDB Group Annual Meetings in Baku. The agreements were signed in the presence of Ilham Aliyev, the president of Azerbaijan, and Mohammad Al-Jasser, IsDB president and chairman of the IsDB Group, SPA reported. The agreements were signed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, also chairman of the IsDB board of governors, and Dr. Rami Ahmad, IsDB vice president (operations).
