US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will visit India next week to advance discussions on the India-US interim bilateral trade agreement, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said. Misri said both sides have made "significant progress" on the deal while noting that "there are ups and downs in relations between nations" as India and the US work towards an early conclusion.

“The leaders noted with particular satisfaction the significant progress made in negotiations towards an interim bilateral trade agreement," India’s foreign ministry says.
